Latest Updates from Our Project:

WE DID IT!!!
about 3 years ago – Thu, Feb 23, 2023 at 07:35:46 PM

Thank you for your wonderful support of my Tabletop Math Games Collection campaign!

This has been a fun project for me, and I hope you all enjoyed it, too. We hit our funding goal and plenty more, funding three extra game chapters and a special vinyl sticker with the Penrose triangle rainbow cubes.

And we passed our final stretch goal at the last minute, too. So everyone who bought the Omnibus edition gets a 5x7 art print of "Gaming in the Enchanted Forest" -- which will also be available in the add-on store for anyone to buy.

Remember: Everyone who backed the campaign at $25 or more gets your name on the "Special Thanks" page in the Deluxe Omnibus edition.

If you want this page to show a different name from the one you used on Kickstarter, be sure you answer your post-campaign survey from BackerKit right away. Watch for details coming soon.

You all are wonderful people, and I'm so proud to have your help in bringing this new set of playful math books to life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Denise

P.S.: I'm still taking votes for our third bonus game. You can comment here or send me a direct message.

We Hit the Flash Goal! (New Game Poll)
about 3 years ago – Wed, Feb 22, 2023 at 01:07:28 PM

With just over 24 hours to go in our Tabletop Math Games Collection Kickstarter campaign, we've unlocked the new game flash goal.

Wow! That means a new printable game file for all backers at the $5 reward level and above, and our Deluxe Omnibus Edition is now 42 Ways To Play Math.

So far, we've added two games: Nim and Number Neighborhoods.

But Function Machine just missed being the second stretch game by one vote, so I'm going to give it another chance.

New Poll for the 3rd Bonus Game:

  • Function Machine (for logic and algebraic relationships)
  • Seega (a classic strategy game from ancient Egypt)
  • or Equationle (the Number Boxes game for arithmetic)

Please respond with a comment to this post, or message me directly through Kickstarter with your choice.

Once again, thank you everyone again for supporting my books. It means so much!

Denise

P.S.: Shall we try for one more stretch goal?

I think we have a good chance of hitting another milestone.

If we pass the $6,000 funding level, I'll order a 5×7 "Gaming in the Enchanted Forest" art print for any rewards that include the Omnibus Edition (and offer it for other backers in the BackerKit add-on store).

Flash Goal: Can We Get One More Game?
about 3 years ago – Tue, Feb 21, 2023 at 10:12:43 AM

We're counting down the hours.

The Tabletop Math Games Collection Kickstarter ends Thursday evening, February 23. And it looks like we're in good shape to hit our final stretch goal today or tomorrow.

I'd love to see us make a strong finish, so here's a new flash goal challenge: If we can add 13 more backers -- bringing our total up to 100 -- I'll add one more game to the book.

Will you help? Share the campaign with your friends and online followers, anyone who loves games or who works with kids.

Let's make sure everyone knows how much fun playing math can be!

Thank you so much for your support. <3

Denise

P.S.: The votes are tied! Comment here or message me with your choice of logical deduction game for our previous stretch goal. Do you want the Function Machine or Number Neighborhoods?

We Unlocked the Fourth Stretch Goal! <3 <3 <3
about 3 years ago – Fri, Feb 17, 2023 at 02:48:27 PM

Thanks to all of you wonderful people, we just passed our fourth stretch goal.

That means every backer at the $5 level or above gets a new ready-to-use printable math game guide, which will also be included in the Deluxe Omnibus book.

Everyone loves to know a secret. Let's add a game that gives upper elementary and older students the power of hidden knowledge and the enjoyment of searching out the truth through logical deduction.

Time to vote! Which new game would you rather have?

  •  The Function Machine Game: Instructions, teaching tips, and a printable deck of 48 function cards, including open-ended function prompts to encourage student creativity.
  •  David Butler's Number Neighborhoods: A game of reasoning skills. Help your team ask questions to gather clues that will help you uncover the opponents' hidden numbers.

Please respond with a comment to this post, or message me directly through Kickstarter with your choice.

We really are making the Tabletop Math Games Collection the best it can be --- a playful guide for practicing math skills and problem-solving for all ages, from preschool to adult.

Again, thank you. I can't tell you how much your support encourages me.

You guys are fantastic!

Denise
